I have 9 years experience teaching in the public school system as a bilingual classroom teacher.  For the past 18 years I have been assessing students from 3-22 years of age for ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, emotional disorders, and dyslexia as well as neuropsychological dysfunction as a result of traumatic brain injury and seizure disorders.

I have expertise in administering personality, intellectual and achievement tests in English as well as in Spanish.  Based on evaluation results, I develop individualized reports with evidence-based scholastic recommendations.

I am licensed by the State of Texas as a specialist in school psychology and psychological associate and certified by the Texas Education Agency as an educational diagnostician and bilingual elementary classroom teacher.

I have worked for 2 years as the Supervising Licensed Specialist in School Psychology for the 4th largest school district in San Antonio.  I have supervised LSSPs, educational diagnosticians, and special education social workers in order to ensure federal and state laws regarding special education are in compliance, always keeping the individual student as the central focus.
