As working LSSP's we have knowledge of special education laws, response to intervention procedures and experience in school settings.

We can consult with you about special education issues.  If you are unsure about whether your child would benefit from an evaluation, we can help navigate the often confusing and overwhelming process. 

If you need advocacy assistance in the school setting, we can explain what accommodations are needed.

We also give presentations (at no charge) to various educational, teacher or parent groups.  Some of the topics are: The social and emotional impact of ADHD and specific learning disabilities on children, Symptoms of a Learning Disability, Brain Based Assessments, and Basics of ARD/IEP Meetings..
